These easy homemade pepperoni rolls are made with pizza dough stuffed with pepperoni and melted mozzarella, then brushed with olive oil and seasoned with garlic and herbs. Baked until golden and served with warm marinara, they're an easy appetizer, snack or casual dinner.
INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARE THE ROLLS
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal portions and gently flatten each piece.
Add pepperoni and shredded mozzarella to the center of each piece of dough.
Bring the edges of the dough together around the filling and pinch firmly to seal. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
SEASON
Lightly brush the tops with olive oil. This helps the rolls brown and gives the seasonings something to stick to.
Sprinkle generously with garlic and your favorite herb seasonings, such as Italian seasoning, parsley, or oregano.
BAKE
Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.
SERVE
Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
